Clear braces or metal ones?

I need to go back to wearing braces...UGH! I'm sooo mad! But anyway, it's only for 6 months..I guess that's not too bad right?


I only need them on the top.


Should I get the clear ceramic ones:

and how much bigger are the clear ones? are they like uncomfortably bigger?

Clear!! they only look like a retainer if there the clear ones not so bad theN! nd teh clear ones are the same almost so no worries! just stick with clear my sister has ones on her bottom jaw and shes had them FOREVER!! nd food dont get stuck in the clear ones lol!Clear braces or metal ones?
I have actually wore both because I ended having to wear braces twice. The first time I had the ceramic which I hated because the elastics that hold the wire to the brackets stained easily. The second time around I decided to go with the metal which I liked a lot better. The metal was also more comfortable to wear because the brackets are smaller. I only had to wear the metal braces for about 8 months. My orthodontist told me that if I chose the ceramic I would have ended up wearing them for at least a year or longer because the ceramic are not as strong as the metal. I have the metal ones.. My doc didn't give me a choice.. you should see if the cost is different.. could be a matter of a $1000 or no difference at all.. go with the cheaper one since you only have to wear for six months.. don't forget to wear your retainer!!
I've heard the ceramic ones get discolored and look nasty...I had metal in the 90's and I think they're still the best way to go if the problem is too bad for a retainer type correction.
Clear ones and don't worry they aren't uncomfortable. I have them on the top and they are fine. They are a little bigger, but so are your top teeth.
get the metal ones, the clear ones look funny.
Get the regular ones. The clear ones look unattractive in my opinion.
i got clear on top metal on bottom :D but you got to be 15 to get clear i got mine at 13 and had no problem!!
The regualr kind. The clear kind look funny cause the wire is running through the tooth, and u cant see the plastic.
regular! the clear ones just look like you have gunk on your teeth.
