i have been thinkin about metal but i want both u have to get metal on the bottom anyway but idk what i should get on top!I have an idea of what colors i want but idk if i should get metal or clear???

Get the metal because the ligatures on the ceramic braces stain too easily. I have wore braces twice. The first time I had braces I had the ceramic on top and metal on bottom. I hated the ceramic because they stained too easily. The second time I had the metal and I liked them a lot better. The metal in my opinion were more comfortable to wear. The ceramic braces are not as strong as the metal braces so you may end up wearing them longer. This website gives you the pros and cons of metal vs ceramic.

You don't have to have metal on the bottom, but it costs a lot less. You barely see the bottom, so since metal costs less, people often do metal on the bottom.
