I am about to get my braces off what is the difference between clear retainers or the regualar metal ones???

clear ones suck. they don't look clear and it looks like you have crap in your teeth. the metal ones feel weirder but are much better. I just got out of my second set of braces and i got a metal one and loved it so much more. As for the maintenance, they are about the same, just soak it in some warm water and Efferdent. and make sure u wear them often. there r soooo many people that had to go back into braces because there teeth shifted. retainers are the easiest part of braces. and finally, don't eat with them in or drink. it doesn't work :)!!!!I am about to get my braces off what is the difference between clear retainers or the regualar metal ones???
I would get the metal ones. They are alot easier to handel the clears absorb so much spit it is sick the metal you can barkey feel but the plasic is ughh...
Well I have the clear one and It has a tendency to get torn up, but it still works I mean, it doesn't make a difference you only wear it at night anyways. You have to clean either regardless, the invisible ones are a lot more popular I didn't even have the option to get the metal and that was years ago for me. You will be very relieved after you get them off haha.
