It really depends on how sevear you crowding or bite problem is. If it is sevear dentists must give you metal braces, simply no other choice. For those people with minor fixes, clear ones may be best especially around your age group. But keep in mind that you will constantly have molds taken of your teeth and the mold past tastes really bad.

well it depends would u rather pay $3000 something or $5000 (if u dont have dental insurance) i paid $3200 and i have upper ceramic braces and lower metal braces.. upper ceramic braces look like the metal ones but they are clear and u can barely notice it from far away .. so take ur pick
