My brother used the clear ones but most of my friends use the metal wire ones. The only thing is i notice that a lot of my friends have their teeth move out of the `straight' positions and some just really move back a lot. SO which one is better?Which retainer is better? Clear or metal?
The clear ones are recent technology and I highly recommend them as I use them myself. Clear ones are really cool, all my friends who use the metal retainers are very jealous of mine. And also, no one realizes that you are using a retainer! Whilst a metal one is very big and takes up your whole mouth, causing you to speak weird, and doesn't look very nice either. So mosdef, clear ones, newer technology, better looking,and more comfortable overall.
