Can 9 yr olds get the ';clear braces'; put on instead of the metal?

The orthodontist that I went to puts clear braces on kids. The down side is that they take longer, cost more, and that they tend to discolor. Plus kids don't always have the whitest of teeth so they don't always blend in. They like to do the bottom ones in metal too. And if they to the tops in clear the kids miss out in picking fun colors - but it can be done!Can 9 yr olds get the ';clear braces'; put on instead of the metal?
If you mean the regular clear braces that you get at the orthodontist I don' t know why not. Although my sister had those, and they looked yellow all the time, so it looked like she had yellow teeth.Can 9 yr olds get the ';clear braces'; put on instead of the metal?

You mean invisalign? Not unless they have very minor teeth problens. Tradidtional braces are much faster.

I'm not sure but you don't want to. I have braces and don't hate them. I'm happy that they're fixing my teeth. Just don't worry.
