Clear or metal braces?

I have to get braces next week. Do you think I should get the see through braces that you can some what see but only sometimes or just straight up braces? How much is it extra to get clear braces?

if you're 16+, i'd get clear so people will take you seriously, because you'd obviously looking younger with braces.

I was a fan of the ordinary metal braces, the clear braces at my orthodontist's were about $70 extra. The clear ones are just as visible as the metal ones sometimes.

The clear ones will turn yelow after a while.


It not worth paying extra money, they're braces anyway.


And people are gonna notice, anyway.
Get the regular metal ones, I personally think the clear ones aren't worth the money. And why pay more to get clear braces? either way, they are still braces and people will eventually notice them lol
my friend got the clear braces and they werent as clear as people thought. after awhile they turn yellow. personally, id get the regular braces and just deal with them. good luck (:
My orthodontist just gave me clear braces, I still have the normal wires and stuff, but the rest is clear.
I agree, braces are a pain but the clear braces do turn yellow after awhile. Braces suck all together, good luck!
the metal ones arent bad. i actully loved my braces %26amp; wish i stilll had them on..lol
