I really don't know so please helpI am getting braces really soon what should i do get clear ones or metal ones??? HELP ME?
i had metal braces and i liked them...they are easy to clean and manage...i also heard that clear braces take a little longer to straighten your teeth and cost more...i liked having metal braces because you can always change the colors for holidays or your favorite colors...just dont get black, yellow, or white because they make your teeth look yellow...the only thing with metal braces is they take long to be put on, the wires poke you sometimes but they sell wax to prevent any poking, and the brackets can break if your not carefull about what you are eating or chewing, and people will most likely give you nicknames such as metal mouth, train tracks, etc but its ok because you will have pretty teeth and get the last laugh...good luckI am getting braces really soon what should i do get clear ones or metal ones??? Metal ones.
Whenever you eat something, clear braces show off all the yellow and stuff right after you eat and it is really disgusting to look at and hard to keep them from getting yellow.
Metal ones, however, you almost or don't at all see food particles in your brackets.
Also, easier to clean.
Both are great choices! Pretty hard to decide.
Clear
Pros: Less noticeable, in pictures they don't really show up, celebrities get them too!
Cons: Shows off food that you ate (orange-Cheetos), more expensive (some orthos), Mostly, only for the top teeth
Metal:
Pros: food isn't as noticeable (what you ate), Cheaper than clear, may finish treatment faster, more or just as durable as clear.
Cons: Noticeable, ugly, annoying (any kind of braces that you get)
They both are great choices, I'd go with clear. :)
METAL!
Metal is your best friend.
the clear stain if you eat certain things.
and it'll look realllllllllly gross.
