Im getting braces in a month and cant decide what to get clear of metal any tips anyone?

I had clear on top and metal on bottom. If I had done the metal on top the dentist told me they would have moved quicker and would have had braces off way faster. The clear also damage easier and stain. But I was already in High School when I got mine so the clear was important to me so they were less visible. Alas you will find that you can see the clear just as well as the metal. In my opinion go metal! You can always color coordinate your rubber bands with events that are happening. Good Luck and stock up on Tylenol and use your wax it will save the inside of your mouth from canker sores!
