i never had the clear, but i've seen people with them. they look cool in my opinion(: it took me 2 1/2 years. but when i was getting mine tightened i heard some girl complaining because she had her braces on for seven years and she had to wait until next month to get them off. but if your teeth are just sort of out of line, then you probably won't have them long. mine were really bad, so it took a little while. you can get colored on the bottom since it's metal, not the top. it will always be clear. it really don't hurt. just the first day it hurt for me, then it hurts a tad bit when they take the bottom 4 front brackets off. hope i helped! I have what you are getting. I stick to clear instead of color bands because that is what I like. You tell them what color rubber band you want.
If I have to do it all over again, I will get the ceramic on the bottom too because it is a b@tch cleaning the metal ones and everything gets stuck in it. That is just my opinion though. I just have to get used to it.
The time is determined by how much work you need to have your teeth fixed, it could be as little as 2 years or up to 4 years
also the rubber bands selection is up to your dentist
but it would be best to have just one color for both top and bottom.
idk how long it will take but u can get colored rubber bands on your bottom. but i wouldnt get clear in my opinion it stains and it looks like your teeth r yellow/brown.
