braces as a child so I don't really want the braces to be noticeable. However the clear braces are $600 more and if they are still noticeable I will just deal with the metal ones for 2 years. Are clear braces really better than the metal braces? I am an adult and didn't have the opportunity to get
I'm 21 and I have clear braces. The disadvantage to clear braces is they are VERY bulky. They make your gums stick out more than metal braces. If I could go back I probably would have gotten the metal ones. Are clear braces really better than the metal braces? I am an adult and didn't have the opportunity to get
Metal braces are hard to keep clean and can cause decalcification of your enamel...
I would highly suggest clear braces that you can take off and on....
Metal braces nowdays are around $4,700
You will see it no matter what, so just go with metal, It's only a couple years anyway.
If you get the clear ones, people are going to ask you why you keep saying your teeth hurt. But if you get the metal ones they won't ask since its obvious.
you could always get invisalign :]
haha
those, you can't notice AT ALL!
clear braces you can. defenetly noticable =P
so it really doesn't make a difference if its clear or not for the regular braces =[
sorRY!
Clear braces are more brittle and more likely to break brackets off. Metal braces are slightly stronger but slightly more noticeable.
It is too late for you to get braces. I am sure that your dentist will tell you about invisalign which are braces for adults. You won't notice them at all.
