I just had one crooked bottom tooth, and the Doc quoted me $5500 for invisilign, with a teatment course of 8-10 months. The invisiligns get changed out every two weeks.


He also told me that they take the impressions and the lab does all the work; he sees the patient for about 2 minutes every three months, when they come in to pick up another set.


My question is why should I pay him the big bucks if a lab tech can do the same thing?


Will had full head Xrays, totally crowded teeth, 14kt white gold braces for 3-4 years, visits every 5 weeks, etc. for $6000. His teeth are perfect now. They use the invisilign-type material for $30 temporary retainers when Will looses or breaks a regular wire one. They are invisible only the first few days of wearing, then they get cloudy and discolored a little.
