I'm getting braces should i get clear or metal!?

I'm getting braces in 3 months and I'm really nervous! I was wondering if i should get the clear or regular metal ones! Because how much longer does the ceramic ones take? Most of my friends dont have braces anyone! And my teeh are really bad. My two front teeth have a gap, while my tooth next to it is crooked.I'm getting braces should i get clear or metal!?

i way prefer the metal because clear makes you look like you have buck teeth, and made me scream bloody murder when i was getting them off.





everyone has metal so its not like youll look goofy :)

Well if your getting like invisaline or whatever its called definately get those. you dont want huge pieces of metal in your mouth. metal isnt that bad but if i could get braces again id want clear.
Your best bet is with metal. Clear braces are more brittle, so they're more likely to break. Trust me, I wanted clear too...didn't like the idea of the metal in my mouth...but my ortho convinced me they're not so efficient.
metal, i hear they work faster.
I've had both metal and ceramic braces, and I currently have the clear ones. The clear ones usually don't take longer than the metal ones.


It's up to you; if you'd rather not have a more noticeable set of braces, go clear, but they are more expensive.
get the metal, the clear ones double the years.
