What is better clear/white braces or normal metal ones?

because the clear ones are less noticable in photos but they stain very easily i heard





but the metal ones hurt more

ive already asked for the clear ones but im thinking i want to change to the metal ones since i havent got them on yet. will it be a hassle?

There was a guy that I was talking to and I kept thinking ';what is all that crap in his teeth?! doesn't he brush?!'; and later i found out that it was clear braces.





so in my opinion, i think the metal ones look better because the clear ones look like you have food stuck in your teeth. i'm sure the same goes for pictures. you can probably still tell that you have something on your teeth, people just wont know what it is.What is better clear/white braces or normal metal ones?
You should go with the normal metal ones. Not only will it save you bundles of money, but it'll save you from the embarrassment when the clear one starts to stain.





I just went in for my 1st month adjustment yesterday. It sucks :(
my orthodontist told me that it takes a lot longer for your teeth to straighten with the clear braces.


for me, i preferred the metal ones because i knew someone with the white braces and it made their teeth look yellower.
I have had the clear for 2 years now, i'm getting them off in a month and i wish i went with the metal. You're really not fooling anyone with the clear ones it just makes it look like your teeth are dirty.
If you can afford it, I suggest using the clear ones. I don't think they will stain and they all hurt the same. Otherwise, what's the use?
i've seen people with clear ones. and they look gross and disgusting and are just as noticeable. go with the metal
