Which are better, Metal braces or Clear braces?

I went to the orthodontist the other day and he said that invisaligns wouldn't fully work for me, so I have to get braces and I chose clear braces, but I'm not sure if it would really look good. Have you seen anybody with clear braces? What are your thoughts?Which are better, Metal braces or Clear braces?
i have clear braces, i love them! they are way less noticable and i heard that they don't hurt as bad, though that may not be true. i would go for clear if i were you!

Metal braces are the way to go. Clear braces act more like retainers, not corrective gear. As a result their overall effectiveness suffers. Plus, invisaligns are hard to clean and get this disgusting white stuff stuck in the imprints of the teeth when you sleep with them in your mouth, they're more trouble than they're worth.
well with the clear braces you can still see them. Who actually cares if you see that u have braces. Do you know how many people have braces? Don't sweat over it. =]
if you pick a clear color for your braces then they will make your teeth look yellow and dirty so go for a blue a green os something other than clear
i think it really depends pn how you would look with metal braces.picture yourself with braces and without. choose witch one you like best! :)
